We guide the process clearly and at an easy pace, while still leaving plenty of time for guests to add their own personal touch and creativity when decorating. Whether you prefer a simple, clean look or a playful, beach-inspired design, everyone is encouraged to make their terrarium their own.
Throughout the experience, your guide will also share plant care tips so guests feel confident taking their terrariums home and helping them thrive for years to come.
This option is perfect for families, children’s parties, team-building events, and birthdays who want a guided, stress-free, and memorable experience.
Looking for a hands-on, interactive experience? Our Guided Terrarium Party is a fun and relaxed way to learn, create, and connect together.
A friendly Plant Party host will arrive ahead of your event to set up the entire terrarium station, ensuring everything is ready when your guests arrive. Once the party begins, your guide will walk everyone step-by-step through building their terrariums, explaining each layer and sharing helpful tips along the way.

Want to enjoy your event at your own pace? Our Private Party is a private experience, perfect option for a relaxed, self-guided party.

With this drop off option, we’ll arrive ahead of your event to fully set up your terrarium party space, providing all supplies, tools, and clearly written, step-by-step instructions for each guest. These instructions walk partygoers through exactly how to build their terrarium from start to finish - no experience needed.
Each party also includes easy-to-follow plant care information, so guests know how to properly care for their plants once they get home. This ensures every terrarium has the best chance to thrive long after the celebration ends. After your event, we’ll return at a scheduled time (typically about two hours later, or at a time that works best for you) to collect all remaining materials and party supplies, including tools, extra soil, décor, table coverings, and instruction guides.
This option is ideal for bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, family gatherings, and casual events, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the experience freely while still creating a beautiful, lasting keepsake.

For children’s parties, a Plant Party host will either drop off all materials for a private standard children’s party or guide the experience in person for a fully hosted, step-by-step guided party.
Perfect for birthday celebrations, kids’ gatherings, and school or community events, our Children’s Plant Parties offer a fun, hands-on learning experience that keeps young guests engaged from start to finish. Each party introduces children to the basics of plants, how they grow, what they need to thrive, and how to properly care for their very own “plant pets.”
Kids not only leave with a living terrarium they created themselves, but also with a sense of responsibility as they learn to care for something that grows over time. Guided parties include interactive instruction throughout the experience, while non-guided parties still provide thoughtfully prepared learning materials so the activity remains educational, creative, and easy to follow with step by step instructions. Children’s Plant Parties can also be curated around specific themes, allowing us to customize colors, decorative elements, and overall presentation to match your celebration and create a personalized experience for your guests.
